This post contains affiliate links. I'm stopping in real quick this morning to share two more crafts I created for the upcoming craft fair, painted mason jars and weathered wood boxes. There are many tutorials around blogland for both projects, so instead of giving full blown instructions I'll mainly be sharing the after pictures :) PAINTED MASON JARS Here's what I used: -Wide Mouth Pint Sized Mason Jars -White Chalk Paint -Water Based Polycrylic -Oil Rubbed Bronze Spray Paint -Curio Knobs -Gorilla Glue -Sandpaper 1. Glue the two pieces of your lids together then spray with ORB spray paint. 2. Paint mason jars with chalk paint, sand and seal with polycrylic. 3. Glue on curio knobs. Easy and Rustic Pallet Christmas Trees
Learn how to make easy rustic pallet Christmas trees. I hope you all aren't sick of my pallet projects because I'm really excited about this next one! I loved creating my pallet pumpkins for the fall and thought what better way to kick off my holiday decor than with pallet Christmas trees! I started by cutting pallets into various pieces then stacked them to form the shape of Christmas trees. Once I was happy with the shape of my trees I glued the pieces together, clamped them tight and let them dry overnight. After the glue was dry I white washed and sanded each one then attached a large wood slice for the tree trunk. I thought I was done, but the trees just seemed too plan and boring. I dug through my craft supplies looking for inspiration and found the perfect little wooden stars. I used the smallest drill bit I had to drill a small hole in the top of each tree and star and attached them with wire and glue. ......
