Easy and Rustic Pallet Christmas Trees

Learn how to make easy rustic pallet Christmas trees.

I hope you all aren't sick of my pallet projects because I'm really excited about this next one!  I loved creating my pallet pumpkins for the fall and thought what better way to kick off my holiday decor than with pallet Christmas trees!

How to make rustic pallet wood Christmas trees
I started by cutting pallets into various pieces then stacked them to form the shape of Christmas trees.  Once I was happy with the shape of my trees I glued the pieces together, clamped them tight and let them dry overnight.

After the glue was dry I white washed and sanded each one then attached a large wood slice for the tree trunk.   I thought I was done, but the trees just seemed too plan and boring.   I dug through my craft supplies looking for inspiration and found the perfect little wooden stars.  I used the smallest drill bit I had to drill a small hole in the top of each tree and star and attached them with wire and glue.

I just love how they turned out and can't wait to see how they sell at the craft fair!

  7. So how did your adorable perfect little trees do at the craft fair? Your idea is so smart, make use of scraps also. We have some pallets out in yard and are preparing for a craft fair on 13th. We've been working like crazy since we didn't find out about craft fair til almost time for applying deadline, (is juried fair) so we got busy making holiday items. These would be fairly quick and easy to assemble and prepare for sale. So glad you shared this.
Saw your bigger tree in more recent post but saw reference to this post so thought I'd see what was up. Love your bigger tree but that would take more time than we have so smaller trees will be perfect. What did you charge for them? Did it depend on size? If you could let me know I'd sure appreciate that. As you can imagine we're quickly running out of time.
Need to clean my house but just doing lick & promise for now til after craft fair. Luckily we get to set up on Friday which think will be very helpful. Happy week and enjoy season. Your son is so cute, why can't they stay that way longer, that innocence and sweetness.
