Before & After: Thrifted Rain boot Planter

Before and after thrift store makeover!  Let's give a modern makeover to a thrifted and outdated rain boot planter! I list items I'm currently hunting on my phone for when I go thrifting.  I review and update the list often, so the list is fresh in my mind and I can quickly scan the aisles while shopping.   When searching the aisles for items on my list, I also scout for unplanned things I may not be looking for, like an ugly rainboot planter.  The rain boots sat haphazardly among other random planters but stuck out like a sore thumb. It had seen better days and sported an interesting sponge paint job in one of my least favorite colors purple.   It was something anyone would easily glance over and leave behind, but I picked it up and immediately saw potential. Pottery Barn Inspired Faux Concrete Jack-O'-Lanterns

Create your own budget-friendly Pottery Barn inspired concrete Jack-O'-Lanterns using secondhand Halloween decor!  Have you started thinking about Halloween ?  Fall and Halloween decor are abundant at thrift stores, making it the perfect time to start thinking about decorating and DIY Projects.  Two years ago I made white  faux concrete jack-o-lanterns  using secondhand Halloween decor.   This year, I searched for larger pumpkins perfect for replicating black Pottery Barn jack-o'-lanterns!
