Creative ideas for repurposing everyday items!
It's not uncommon for me to snag soup cans, cardboard boxes or glass jars from our recycling bin to repurpose into home decor. I've turned tin cans into pumpkins, a spaghetti jar into a laundry room tip jar and cereal boxes into desk dividers. I've even used my kids leftover toy packaging to make a custom silhouette tray for my daughter's room. Sure, I've spent my fair share on craft supplies and other home decor items, but nothing beats creating something useful out of something free.
Today I've rounded up 10 of my favorite repurposing projects that I hope will inspire you!
CANS
Spray recycled tin cans, add a simple wood chalkboard tag and you have inexpensive herb pots.
If that's not your style, wrap a can in burlap ribbon and finish off with a simple jute bow.

GLASS JARS
Don't throw away those old spaghetti and pickle jars. Turn them into storage with cute knobs and a little spray paint. Wouldn't they be perfect for a bathroom or craft room?
