A Dollar Tree jar, thrifted belt and festive holiday candy come together to create an adorable Santa belt jar perfect for gift giving.
Hey, hey. I'm back sharing one more super quick, last minute gift before I take a break for Christmas.
These adorable (and super affordable!) Santa belt jars would make the perfect hostess or teacher's gift. You can even attach a gift card for a little extra something.
The best part about this project is that I already had most of the supplies. I did have to buy the jar, but that was only a $1.00 and came from the Dollar Store. I love that it's clear and smooth (no writing like Ball or Kerr jars) and the lid is already gold and ready to go.
I simply attached an old belt and buckle to the glass jar using spray adhesive. I've actually been hoarding 4 of these buckles for over a year and I'm thrilled to finally have a good use for them. They came off an old purse that I was throwing away and at the last minute, I decided to save the buckles. See, it pays to be a craft hoarder!
After attaching the buckle I simply filled the jar with M&M's (these mint ones are the best!) then embellished the jar with bakers twine, gold bells and greenery.
You could easily whip one of these jars up just in time for a quick last minute gift.
So adorable, Katie! My son would love these. And M&Ms- yum!
ReplyDeleteI will pay you if I can get a few ;)
ReplyDeleteAmazing idea! I tried it and I already had majority of the supplies at home! It is quick and easy and affordable. The person I gave it to for secret Santa absolutely adored it!
