Happy Monday! I hope you all had a lovely Easter celebrating with family. We spent time visiting family, hunting Easter eggs and enjoying the nice spring weather. I even managed to slip in a little garage update while the kids were playing outside. I wanted to take pictures of our living room and completed metal card catalogs, but I was too busy perusing Pinterest and watching Netflix (aka, being lazy.) I'll share those projects as soon as I get motivated to clean up and take pictures :) I love searching for new finds and designing spaces. It satisfies my love for designing and is the next best thing when you can't completely overhaul your own space. It's kind of like shopping with someone else's money, wouldn't that me nice? This week's color combo is one of my favorites and incorporates everything I love....black, white and wood tones! The round wood mirror and coffee table perfectly softens the harsh lines of the eye chart and sof......

Painted and Distressed Mason Jar Storage
Did you know March is National Craft Month? What could be better than a full month devoted to crafting? I was thrilled when Wayfair invited me to help celebrate with a fun Craft Redux campaign. I was asked to redo one of my first crafts and I couldn't wait to give my favorite distressed mason jars a whole new look! ...

9 Beautiful and Affordable Farmhouse Clocks
Happy Monday and happy SPRING! I hope you all had a great weekend. Ours was pretty low key due to rain, snow (Hello, where is Spring?) and a sick child with Strep. I did manage to sneak out for a quick trip to Hobby Lobby to pick up some beautiful spring flowers and fabric. I've already made pillows with the fabric and look forward to posting a spring living room update soon. I want to thank all of you for your kind words regarding Friday's spring entryway update. I didn't make any major changes, but I did add a beautiful new clock and some pretty pink flowers. It was just enough to say, "Goodbye winter, hello spring!" ...

How to Build an Inexpensive Industrial 2x4 Shelving Unit
Happy Monday! How was your weekend? We snuck away for a quick getaway to the beach and it was so nice. The weather was cold and rainy, but the kids still enjoyed the beach, seeing the wild horses and swimming in the indoor pool. Sometimes all it takes is a stay away from home to reconnect and recharge. I feel like I've been talking about this 2x4 project for weeks, so I am THRILLED to FINALLY be sharing it with you all today. It was a fairly straight forward and easy build, it just took me way too long to get motivated to get it completed. Since I am lucky enough to have a well stocked supply of paint, stain and building supplies I was able to complete this build for less than $20.00! You can't beat that for custom storage! ...

Distressed Typography Canvas Art {Monthly DIY Challenge}
Not only is today the second Wednesday of the month and time for March's Monthly DIY Challenge, but it also marks my daughter's 8th birthday. EIGHT! How in the world did that happen so fast? I'm not gonna get all mushy and go into how I feel about my baby turning eight, but I will say, I definitely teared up while tucking her into bed last night. I made her promise that she'll still wanna snuggle with her mama even when she's eight. Thankfully, she promised and even agreed to still let me kiss her in public, even in front of her friends. That's my girl! Now that I'm feeling all sappy, let's switch gears to what this post is all about....March's Monthly DIY Challenge! This month's theme was "Blank White Canvas" and I just love what my talented blogger friends created. You all know I have a love for the number 4 (obviously!), so of course that is the first thing that popped into my head when this month......

Tips For Creating a Perfectly Eclected Gallery Wall
In my opinion, gallery walls are supposed to be fun. They are a great way to fill a large wall and showcase your personality without spending a lot of money. They don't have to match or be symmetrical to be amazing. Some of my favorite gallery walls are ones that look collected and showcase a variety of frames, shapes and textures. A lot of people tend to be scared when creating gallery walls, but you don't have to be. Have fun and make it your own! ...
