Basement Makeover : Plank Wall Progress and Freshly Painted Door
Hey, hey....I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! It's finally been warm enough that we were able to eat outside and enjoy the beautiful spring weather. I was really hoping to have the basement plank wall finished, but I still have one row of boards to add before I call this project complete. Affordable Farmhouse Decor for the Perfect Fixer Upper Look
Does this post even need an introduction? I mean, the words "Farmhouse" and "Fixer Upper" practically speak for themselves. Like most people I love watching Fixer Upper (isn't Chip hilarious?) to gather inspiration for my own home. Just check out some of the beautiful spaces from past shows. ...

Our basement is a space that has become a hodgepodge of hand-me-down furniture and leftover decor. It's the one space in our home that doesn't get shared much on the blog, for good reason. If you have been a long time reader you probably know that I accidentally flooded our basement about a year ago. (yeah, not my finest moment.) We ended up tearing up our four year old carpet and removing half the padding. At the time we weren't ready to replace the carpet, so we dried it out and laid it back down. ...
