I hope everyone is having a great week!  I'm stopping in real quick to share an update on our basement makeover.  Last I left off I had almost finished the plank wall.  Well, I'm happy to say the wall is now complete!

I nailed, caulked and painted the last few boards yesterday and didn't even let the paint dry before I was adding new decor to the space.
I mentioned in Monday's post that I bought these stools and I couldn't be happier with them.   They're extremely sturdy, adjustable and I love that they have clear plastic covers on the feet to protect the floor.

They're actually too high for the table, but I have a plan to solve that problem.  Let's just hope it works!

The clock was moved from our entryway down to the basement, where it was originally meant to be.

I just recently scored the large letter "A" from HomeGoods and love how it ties in the wood tones from the stools.  I also moved the kid's storage ottoman (it's used to store dress up clothes) back to the basement since I have a very cool DIY bench project planned for the mudroom.

I still have a few more ideas planned for this space, but you'll have to wait to see the rest at the final reveal!

Now it's time to start focusing on the tile backsplash, removing the carpet and getting the walls painted.

If you're playing catch up, here's a breakdown of the progress so far!
