Do you remember a few weeks ago when I shared a round up of stylish and affordable black and white outdoor decor? Not only did I share a few of my favorite affordable finds, but I mentioned that this would be the year I would FINALLY make our deck a place that we actually wanted to spend time.
A few years ago we built a beautiful deck, but the old furniture, moldy cushions and lack of decor made it anything but inviting. We saved for 3 years to pay for our gorgeous deck and it's high time we actually enjoy the space.
To save money, I kept our 12 year old wrought iron table and whicker conversation set and simply bought new cushions, rugs, pillows and accessories.
I did add a three piece wicker lounge set last year and it has been so nice for lounging during warm summer days.
I can't tell you how nice it's been to finally have a space that feels like an extension of our home. You don't have to spend a lot of money or get too elaborate. Keeping things simple and neutral can create a space that's just as beautiful.
