Happy Friday! I'm a bit embarrassed to admit this, but I just found out that you can shop T.J. Maxx online !!! How did I not know this??? I blame it on the fact that I have FIVE HomeGoods and THREE T.J. Maxx stores within 30 minutes from my house. Who needs to shop online when you can head straight to the store? Don't tell my husband, but I'm usually in one of our local stores at least once a week. You have to shop often to get the best deals, right? Regardless if I shop online or in store, I definetely buy my fair share of decor (and clothes!) from T.J. Maxx. Do you remember my fall mudroom? The pillow, throw and orange pumpkin were all purchased from T.J.Maxx. ...

Dollar Tree storage jars get the perfect aged industrial look with the help of paint! Do you follow me on Facebook ? A few weeks ago I shared a mini Dollar Tree haul and they included these cute little glass jars. I have a thing for storage jars and containers, so of course, as soon as I spotted them I knew I had to bring a few home. The Best Sleek and Modern Ceiling Fans
Gorgeous and stylish modern ceiling fans that pack style and function. For the past 12 years my husband has fought hard for a ceiling fan in our living room and for 12 years I've vetoed the idea. For no other reason than the mere fact that I didn't like how they looked. Crazy, right? It wasn't until my daughter asked why we didn't have a fan in our living room that I realized I was being selfish. I was choosing my own design choices over my families comfort, so I caved and ordered a fan. Now, hear me out. I know ceiling fans tend to get a bad rap in the design world, but I promise these sleek and modern fans will add both style and function to your space. Apartment Therapy ...

An Easy Way to Repurpose Old Canvas Art
Repurposing and reusing old canvases is the best way to create custom artwork for free! Add an easy wood frame, a little paint and you have the perfect modern art piece. A few weeks ago, I cleaned out my husband's office, which included going through a lot of old decor. As I was preparing bags to be packed up for Goodwill I hesitated adding a few old art canvases to the "donate" pile. I knew they would be easy to update, so I set them to the side for future projects. If you saw my Fall Home Tour on Monday than you may have already seen my new DIY artwork. I actually finished this project and took photos before I fully decorated for fall, but wasn't able to get the post written in time. Better late than never, right? I had previously purchased artwork for the spot above my new bar cart , but ended up moving it downstairs when I was finishing the vintage modern bathroom makeover . That left me with a blank wall in the dining room that wa...

I slacked last year and didn't share a fall home tour (what kind of blogger am I?), so this year I'm extra excited to be teaming up with over 30 fabulous bloggers and Kirkland's (who is generously sponsoring this post) to share my simple and neutral fall home. I hope you enjoy the tour, but more importantly, I hope it inspires you to create a beautiful fall home you love. ...

An Easy Way to Build an Industrial Wood Coffee Table
Building a professional looking industrial style coffee table is much easier (and cheaper!) than you think! It's Monthly DIY Challenge day! This month, Kreg has graciously sponsored our challenge and has also provided each of us with a Kreg R3 . I can not believe I have never used one of these handy tools before. Seriously, have I been living in a hole? I've built many projects in the past, but building a piece of furniture with pocket holes is a total game changer! Affiliate links have been used. A few months ago we bought furniture for our living room and I have been in search of a new coffee table ever since. I haven't been able to find one that I really like, so I decided to move our basement coffee table upstairs and build a new one for the basement. I love being able to shop the house and rearrange furniture. It's my favorite way to achieve a new look in a space without spending a penny. ...

A free pumpkin patch printable that you can easily transfer to wood for the perfect rustic fall decor! I'm all about going cheap when it comes to seasonal decorating. Turn basic Dollar Tree bins into the perfect industrial storage! ------------------------------------------------- It's the first Monday of the month, which means it's time for another Dollar Store DIY! This month is all about storage and how I gave little purple bins an industrial makeover. I've updated these little plastic Dollar Tree plastic bins in the past, but I couldn't resist updating more in a slightly different way. You just can't beat four little storage containers for $1! They're perfect for craft supply storage or I use them in my medicine cabinet to keep medicines neat and organized. ...
