Who's ready to start decorating for the holidays?
Christmas decor is showing up earlier and earlier in stores, which is definitely motivating me to get started on decorating my own home. On a recent trip to Walmart, I couldn't help but check out all their new holiday decor and due to popular demand, I'm sharing a few of my favorites. Walmart has definitely stepped up their game and I'm excited to share some great affordable Christmas decorating decor and ideas.
- WALMART CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS-
I'm really into flocked trees and decor and Walmart has some great affordable options. At just $10 I couldn't resist picking up this beautiful flocked wreath.
I was looking for this little 2 foot flocked tree for our bedroom, but I didn't see it in stock at my local store. They had a ton of other great options though.
I might actually go back and get one of the larger ones to put in the corner of our bedroom. I haven't had a tree in my bedroom since I was a kid and I always enjoyed falling asleep to the glow of the lights.
I have a large collection of bottle brush trees, so I resisted the urge to buy more, but Walmart has a large variety of sizes and styles.
I like to display them on my entry table and use them to decorate my vintage red trucks. Speaking of vintage trucks, don't forget to check out the toy section. The little red Chevy truck I use in my Christmas decor was bought from Walmart.
Walmart has a nice selection of Christmas signs this year too. There were a few that caught my eye, including a farm fresh Christmas trees sign and a staked Santa sign that was only $4.94.
There was a ton of little burlap bags, which are perfect for framing and creating instant and affordable holiday wall art. I framed a bag last year and it's still one of my favorite pieces of holiday decor.
They also had some cute ornaments. I especially liked the woodland ornaments and these adorable little owls. Aren't they cute?
So, what did I buy?
I behaved and limited myself to a new wreath, a few rolls of wrapping paper and a pretty candle. Of course, this was before I filled my cart with toilet paper, paper towels and household supplies.
***Update*** You can see how I hung the flocked tree and used some of the wrapping paper in my Christmas Home Tour HERE!
Check out a few of my favorite items below and make sure to check out your local Walmart for other great Christmas decor that isn't available online.

You are my new favorite blogger! I just found you recently! I tend to follow bloggers and then they begin to get free items and then they quit finding creative and inexpensive ways to decorate and then it is beyond my budget and just depresses me. Please don't ever change and forget those that can't afford the products bloggers get free. Thank you for doing what you do so well!!!
ReplyDeleteI was at Walmart last night and saw the cute Christmas decor. They had these wooden crates that I thought of you when I saw them. I also thought I didn't know what to do with them, but you would. Haha :) ~Carissa
ReplyDeleteLove love love your blog. Great ideas...I was excited to revisit a previous post of yours for ideas for my new/thrift store find. Covered cheese dish. Love your style! But my Walmart 👎🏼 I can’t seem to find the farmhouse decor that you find.
ReplyDeleteThank you for taking the time to put this together. I know it is more than just typing up a post. I appreciate the work you put into it :) and there are so many awesome ideas. I love all of the beautiful pictures you included.
ReplyDeleteI love the flocked garland from Walmart- it is so full and looks lovely on my staircase and mantel. I also purchased a couple of flocked trees and the tree farm sign. Walmart has definitely upped their product line.
