Vintage modern inspired mudroom with simple fall touches!
This post is sponsored by Walmart
Major progress has happened in the mudroom over the past few months and I'm so excited to share a peek into the new space!
I kept the mudroom light and bright and mixed styles for the perfect vintage modern vibe. The white walls and dark doors add the right amount of contrast, while cozy decor adds the perfect amount of texture and interest for fall.

I love that Walmart has such a huge variety of faux pumpkins and affordable fall decor. I bought three pumpkins based on their size and shape and not so much their color since I planned on painting them to match my decor.
STEP ONE: Remove stems from pumpkins.
STEP TWO: Paint each pumpkin in Celery.
STEP THREE: Paint each pumpkin in Moss. Be sure to allow some of the lighter color to show through and don't worry about being neat and covering the entire pumpkin.
STEP FOUR: Dry brush each pumpkin with a thin layer of Celery (the lighter color paint) for even more texture and dimension.
STEP FIVE: Cover stems in antique wax.
STEP SIX: Reattach the pumpkin stems with hot glue.
My favorite new addition to the mudroom is the gorgeous round black metal mirror. Can you believe it came from Walmart? They have really stepped it up and have some really affordable and stylish on-trend decor available.
It ties in beautifully with the black kitchen hardware and helps soften all the hard lines in the rest of the room.
A Chenille throw blanket and Aztec throw pillow are perfect for adding texture and cozying up the space for fall.
