Amber Decor and Cozy Fall Favorites

I know it's only August and here I am talking about fall decor.

Believe me, I love summer and don't want it to end. It's never too early to start thinking about fall though, especially if you like to plan ahead.

I gravitate towards cool tones and green will forever be my favorite accent color, but amber is quickly creeping in as a close second. I'm especially partial to vintage amber glass and rust colored pillows and thought it would be helpful to pull together some of my favorites, which are also perfect for fall.

Amber, burnt orange and rust decor for fall

I bought oversized rust colored pillows for our basement, but recently tried them out in our bedroom and loved the way they looked.

There's just something so perfect about rust/burnt orange against dark gray. It's a beautiful combination that never fails.

Vintage amber glass is something I always keep an eye out for, especially old drinking glasses, bottles, and jars. Auctions, flea markets, yard sales, vintage shops, ETSY, and Facebook Marketplace are excellent sources for finding authentic vintage amber glass.

I have two sets of six vintage Whitehall tumbler glasses, one green and one amber. I rotate them from season to season and love the touch of vintage and shine they add to the kitchen. I bought mine at auctions, but ETSY is a wonderful source for these vintage classics.
