Take a tour of a vintage booth and learn staging tips for a successful sale!
It's been a while since I talked about my vintage booth, so how about a booth tour and some staging tips?
November and December were whirlwind months with multiple back to back sales, so it was nice to have a little break before our January sale. It gave me time to recharge, clear out my booth then refresh and stage the space with new home decor and vintage finds.
Before I get to the tour, I wanted to share a few blog posts that you may find helpful if you have a vintage booth, are thinking of having a booth or simply flip furniture for extra money.
- VINTAGE BOOTH TOUR AND STAGING TIPS -
TIP ONE: HELP PEOPLE VISUALIZE HOW TO USE OR STYLE AN ITEM
Not everyone has an eye for design or can visualize how they would use or display decor in their own home. Help them out by creating displays they can imitate or that may spark their creativity.
TIP TWO: KEEP YOUR STYLE/THEME/COLORS COHESIVE
This is my personal opinion, but I believe it's incredibly easier for a customer to shop when a space is cohesive. Crammed and overcrowded booths and mixing too many styles and colors can be distracting, intimidating and overwhelming for a shopper.
Keeping your space cohesive and shoppable allows customers to easily browse and scan your booth without getting too overwhelmed. A cohesive space is more calming and allows shoppers to get an idea of how furniture and decor may look in their own home.
TIP THREE: GROUP LIKE ITEMS
Group like and similar items together for an easy shopping experience. You can ground like decor with a suitcase, large tray, riser or crate or display larger quantities in a basket, decorative box or bowl.
I hope you enjoyed the tour.
Have a lovely weekend, friends!
