Incorporating old-school lighting is one of my favorite ways to add a touch of vintage to my home.
I'm particularly partial to the simple clean lines and opaque glass shades of vintage schoolhouse lighting. They're classic, timeless and blend in beautifully with my high-contrast, vintage modern decor.

I achieved the vintage schoolhouse look in my kitchen by adding sconces from Sazerac Stitches. I then replaced the small original globes with larger schoolhouse globes from Home Depot. It was a simple and cost affective alternative that gave me the perfect vintage modern look I wanted.
