Happy Monday! Did you have a good weekend? I stayed home and lounged in comfy clothes pretty much all weekend and it was glorious! I don't know about you, but having zero plans and doing nothing is my favorite way to spend a weekend.
The shorter days and colder weather have been killing my motivation lately, so it was the perfect opportunity to stay home, get some things done around the house and dress in comfy loungewear all day long.
I finally brought the Christmas bins in from the shed, binged a little Netflix, did some Christmas decorating, took a few naps and enjoyed a super low-key weekend. It was amazing!
I tend to wear leggings if I'm working on furniture or have to run errands, but joggers are my go-to if I'm staying around the house. They feel comfy and casual like pajama pants, but a little more appropriate if I have unexpected company. I also find the loose and relaxed feeling of joggers more comfortable than leggings, especially if I don't have plans to leave the house.
Walmart has a large variety of affordable and stylish joggers in different styles, textures and materials. I prefer the thinner pajama-style joggers for around the house and thicker sweatpant-style joggers if I'm running errands. Thankfully, Walmart has a large selection of styles both in-store and online.
We keep our house a little on the cold side during the winter, which means I'm almost always pairing my joggers with a sweater or hoodie. The athletic mock neck hoodie in Smoky Olive from Walmart quickly became a new favorite. It's lightweight, has a flattering crisscross hem at the waist and thumb holes!
I don't like wearing socks around the house, BUT you will find me in slippers or comfy shoes. The high-top faux shearling sneakers from Walmart were ideal for running back and forth from the shed and garage to the house. The zip side makes them super easy to slip on, the faux shearling cuff keeps my ankles warm and the memory foam sole provides extra cushion and comfort.
It was the perfect cozy winter outfit to wear around the house and even out to the grocery store later in the day.
