Thrift Store Upcycle: Spice Rack Turned Propagation Station

Learn how to turn a dated wood spice rack into a stylish vintage-inspired propagation station!  Let's make another thrift store upcycle !  My mom found a pair of matching spice racks a few months ago at a local thrift store.  She bought them thinking my daughter could hang them in her room to organize and display nail polish.    The idea was good, but unfortunately, they ended up being too small for my daughter's rapidly growing collection of nail polish.  I didn't want the dated spice racks to go to waste, so I decided to turn one into a propagation station with vintage-inspired glass bottles.  SUPPLIES NEEDED TO TURN A SPICE RACK INTO A PROPAGATION STATION - Wood spice rack - Scrap wood ( I used 1/4" x 1 3/8" lattice wood) - Pliers or screwdriver (depending on how the spice rack is constructed) - Rubber mallet - Wood glue - Miter saw (could use a miter box and saw ) - Drill and small drill bit  - Small nails or screws - Sander with 150-grit sandpaper  - Sim...

Neutral Modern Vintage Bathroom Mood Board

A neutral modern bathroom mood board with a mix of metals and a touch of vintage!   For years, I've wanted to completely gut and remodel our master bathroom.  It was one of the first rooms we had renovated and after 16 years could definitely use an update.   Unfortunately, a major bathroom renovation isn't at the top of the priority list.  That doesn't mean I can't dream, plan and design a room that is full of everything I love......modern, vintage, texture, contrast, warmth, and a mix of metals.  I thoroughly enjoyed designing this modern vintage bathroom and sourcing the perfect pieces to create a beautiful space I love! Functional Vintage Home Office Changes and an Announcement

TAKE A TOUR OF A STYLISH AND FUNCTIONAL VINTAGE-DECORATED HOME OFFICE! Back in August, I shared my new vintage modern home office .  Earlier in the year, we moved my daughter's bedroom downstairs, which allowed me to turn her old bedroom into my new home office .  I still end up working primarily from my  $70 Facebook Marke tplace leather RH chair , but having a designated office and additional space to display more of my favorite thrift, vintage, and antique finds has been really nice. Let's Go Thrifting: What I Bought and How I Styled it

A curated collection of thrift store finds and how I styled them in my vintage modern decorated home!  It's been way too long since my last Let's Go Thrifting post , so let's do a little thrifting!
