Take a tour of a vintage booth staged and styled at the Lucketts Fall Market!
Last week, I left Maryland and headed to Berryville, VA for the Lucketts Fall market.
I've been picking, prepping, pricing, and packing for months in preparation for the market.
You may recognize some of the items as many furniture pieces I makeover and vintage items I find are taken to the Lucketts markets.
Have you heard of the Lucketts vintage markets?
The Old Lucketts Store hosts the hippest vintage market in May and October. They source some of the best vintage vendors, draw a large crowd from the East Coast, and do a phenomenal job on their market displays.
I didn't have time to walk around the market this year, but I did sneak off to a few of my neighbors, who also happen to be some of my favorite vintage dealers.
The husband and wife team, Jenni and Jared from JBS Mercantile are no strangers to the Lucketts markets. They are natural at staging, styling, and creating beautiful vignettes with the most fun and unique vintage finds.
Do you spy what I spy?
I tour their booth before every market opens to take in their beautiful displays. That also means I get first dibs on one-of-a-kind vintage finds like the incredible hymn board peeping in the back!
Are you a vintage Christmas fanatic? If so, you'll love Brandy from The Purple Ottoman. She is the vintage Christmas queen, and I was instantly drawn to her booth.
Just look at all the beautiful vintage Christmas decor!
My favorite view in her space was the pink Christmas tree and antique mantel decorated with vintage Santa ornaments and decor.
Now onto my space from the fall market.
I'm super picky about what I bring to markets and only buy what I love. Everything I sell is handpicked by me, making curating and styling a booth super easy and enjoyable.
You'll always find a variety of vintage, industrial, modern, and MCM furniture and decor mixed and matched throughout any booth I curate.
Industrial lockers have always been a favorite of mine. They are cumbersome to move, and every time I buy a set, I say, never again, yet I continue to buy and sell them. I mean, who can resist?
Vintage brass, artwork, mirrors, yard longs, demijohns, cameras, clocks, and flower frogs can always be found in my space. They're items I always look for and enjoy buying and incorporating in vignettes and displays.
Did you see anything you would buy?
I tried hard not to shop at the market (I would spend all my profit haha), but I did treat myself to two things. The beautiful antique hymn board from JBS Mercantile and an awesome handcrafted ghost art made from an antique screen.
I now have one antique hymn board in my basement and one in my mudroom.
Have you always wanted an antique hymn board? You can make your own using an old wood wall calendar, commonly found at thrift stores!
The Lucketts Fall Market ended last Sunday, yet I still haven't been able to catch my breath. I worked all week at Lily & Birch Market reattaching walls, rebuilding displays, moving furniture, taking pictures, and marketing for our market this weekend.
It's a crazy busy time for retail, but I absolutely love being able to spend my days decorating and styling with cool and unique decor.
Thanks for the tour.

The thing I love the most is your picture of the 3 dogs.
