Take a tour of my vintage booth from the Lucketts Spring Market. It's one of the hippest vintage markets on the East Coast!
It feels like I was just recapping the Lucketts fall market, yet here I am wrapping up the latest spring market.
It takes months to prepare for the Lucketts vintage markets and this is where I curate, display, and sell many of my handpicked vintage finds.
Preparing and participating in these markets takes a lot of time and energy, but they're always so much fun and worth the effort!
Have you heard of the Lucketts markets?
The Old Lucketts Store hosts the hippest vintage markets in May and October. They source some of the best vintage vendors, draw an impressive crowd, and pull out all the stops on their market displays.
I usually walk around before the market, but this year was a little crazy and I just didn't have time. I did sneak out to my neighbors, who also happen to be some of my favorite vintage dealers.
The Purple Ottoman had the most incredible vintage Christmas at the fall show and I was excited to see their Spring Market display.
As always, they did not disappoint! I was immediately drawn to their vintage clock face and Americana displays.
The Barn at Creekside Farm created a fun spring display showcasing an antique workbench surrounded by greenery and vintage finds.
And how fun is this bike display?
I always look forward to seeing Jenni and Jared from JBS Mercantile. They source the best vintage finds and are natural at staging and styling. Not to mention the sweetest people you will ever meet.
Now let's take a tour of my space from the Spring Market!
I only source and buy what I love, making creating displays and curating a space fun and easy. You'll find a variety of neutrals and wood tones and a mix of my favorite vintage smalls and wall decor.
It's almost always certain that my space will include a variety of vintage brass, flower frogs, clocks, cameras, glassware, and multi-drawer cabinets.
I teamed up again with my friends from Lily & Birch Market and we took over the front of the brand-new Beef Barn!
My favorite area of my booth was the back wall where I hung a gallery wall of vintage art including an antique hymn board and convex eagle mirror. I placed a 15-drawer card catalog in front of the wall, flanked by two vintage Restoration Hardware leather Churchill chairs.
What's your favorite item from the booth? Do you see anything you would buy?
I came home from the market feeling extremely appreciative of the outpouring of support expressed to the many vendors and small businesses that attended the market. I left the market with a much lighter load and a very grateful heart!
Katie, would you consider letting your readers know what all sold from your booth? I'm a vendor at a vintage/antique show in the Midwest in April and October and have a year round booth in a vendor's mall and would love to know what all sold for you. Your things are so beautiful! I WILL get to the Luckett's Vintage show some day! For now I work full time and this is just my side-gig but boy, do I LOVE it! Thanks for sharing!
